Yes, you can mail your items to Sella! Sella Mail-In is just like our standard selling service, but instead of handing your items to a local Hub, you can ship them to Sella directly with a prepaid shipping label that we provide. Once we receive your items, the selling process is exactly the same.
Tips and Reminders about Mail-In Orders
To use our Mail-In service, start an order and tell us about your items. If you enter an address outside of our service area, you'll be automatically prompted to use Mail-In.
Since you're mailing your items to us, the cost of shipping will impact your take-home profit. If you're using Mail-In, we recommend sticking to small, higher-value items (e.g. an Apple Watch, Ray Ban sunglasses, or a Theragun).
Once you submit your order, we’ll send you a prepaid FedEx Ground shipping label via email. If your items don’t fit in a single box and you require more than one label, please submit a second order. The final cost of shipping will depend on the weight and size of your items, so make sure to use an appropriately-sized box.
After you’ve received your prepaid shipping label, carefully pack your items in one box. Make sure that all of the items in your order, including chargers and accessories, are packed with appropriate padding. Please note: all Mail-In orders are fully insured, but the insurance is void if our provider determines that damage was caused by inadequate padding/packing. For that reason, we encourage you to pack with care! Check out safe packing guidelines from FedEx here.
Shipping
The prepaid label we provide can be used for seven days; you can find your nearest FedEx drop off location here. Unfortunately, to ensure consistent tracking and insurance, all Mail-In orders need to be shipped with the label provided by Sella.
To estimate your shipping cost, you can use this FedEx shipping calculator and set the zip code to "75228"
Tracking information for your shipment can be found in your Mail-In order confirmation email. We’ll also send you an email notification when we’ve received your package.
Insurance
All Mail-In packages are insured for the amount you declare when submitting your order, up to a maximum of $2,500. Insurance increases the cost of shipping by 1% of the insured value. For example, the cost for $100 of insurance coverage is $1, and the cost for $500 of coverage is $5.
